Style Sheets and Classes:
Each table cell within this template uses a CSS class to format the information contained within it. Our CSS file is "commented" to help you identify locate and identify specific items. You can also find which class was used by right-clicking in a table cell and selecting Cell Properties. In the window that appears, click on the Style Button. Under "Class" you will see the name of the name of the class we used. In FrontPage 2003, you can easily see which classes and/or IDs are applied to specific areas if you look at the "Quick Tag Selector" bar.
Include Pages:
As you edit your include pages, double-check to make sure that FrontPage has not added paragraph tags before and after your changes. If this happens, delete any <P> or </P> which can cause some minor display issues in Firefox.
Your Name Here:
The "Your Name Here" is plain text and can be found on the yourname.htm page within the includes folder. The font color, style, and size is set within the "logo" class in the CSS file.
If you wish something a bit fancier, we recommend that you add your name and/or logo directly to the mainimage.jpg file using your favorite imaging program (Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, etc.) and then delete the text from the included page. Our layered PSD file is available on request.
Slogan:
You can easily modify your own company's slogan or tag line by editing the slogan.htm page found within the includes folder.
Current Date:
The current data is a javascript which is in the date.htm page inside of the includes folder.
Global Icons:
The icons are located on global.htm page inside of the includes folder.
Copyright Information:
The copyright information can be easily changed by opening the copyright.htm page located in the include folder. You will change the information once and it will be changed on all of the pages within your site.
Main Navigation Bar:
The navigation links are contained on the mainnav.htm page within the includes folder. On this page is a table with 5 columns. Each link is placed within an individual cell and hyperlinked to the appropriate page. If you wish fewer top navigation links, you can simply delete a column, and reset the table width properties reducing the width by 150 pixels for each column removed.
